Our Oregon Coastal Tour will introduce you to the historic significance of our coastal past and the beauty of our public beaches.

A visit to Cannon Beach or up to Astoria are 2 of our most favorite coastal experiences. On this tour, you can take in the views of the coast and the volcanic rocks along its shores. You may even see some of the wildlife thriving in our forests and on sandy beaches.

We will drive through quaint Oceanside communities, lighthouses and a stop at the glass studio before heading south to Tillamook to visit our world-famous Tillamook Cheese Factory and cheese tasting room. On the return to Portland, we travel through the rugged Oregon Coast Range along the scenic Wilson River.

Artsy Cannon Beach and Haystack Rock, and walk along Ecola and Indian State beach, or Historic Astoria, Ft. Clatsop and a Seaside turn around

Transportation in a very comfortable tour vehicle, a very educational and entertaining guide and plenty of bottled water.

Let us whisk you out of the city and head down the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Byway to some of the most majestic views the Pacific Northwest has to offer. Get out for some fresh air, stretch your legs, and get ready for an amazing afternoon among the trees, rocks, waterfalls, and a few more surprises tucked away in the Columbia Gorge. Don’t forget your camera!

On our Columbia River Gorge, Mt. Hood Loop tour your first stop is the The Crown Point Vista House. Built on a bluff this location offers the most expansive view of the Columbia River east and west. Next stop is the world famous Multnomah Falls, the 2nd highest continually flowing waterfall in the United States. From there you will continue along to the quaint little town of Hood River. You can grab some lunch, watch the windsurfers and maybe even do a little shopping. Now, get ready for a beautiful drive as we head up the road to Mt. Hood and Timberline Lodge. We will spend some time here exploring the grounds and the lodge. On the way back down the mountain you will pass by many ski resorts and yes, even more beautiful scenery. It will most assuredly be a day to remember.

This tour is limited to 6 people ensuring an intimate, personal experience. This tour is always subject to weather and snow conditions.

At A Great Oregon Wine Tour, we pride ourselves in our knowledge and passion for Oregon wines, regional foods and the bounty this area has to offer. As avid and curious wine lovers we strive daily to understand the complexities and subtleties of this unique wine region.

Our tour guides are second to none each possessing a wealth of knowledge about wine as well as the history of the region and so much more. They will help you learn about it all on your tour through the beautiful Willamette Valley and will be at your service all day long.

We will visit 3 to 4 wineries and a wine country style lunch will be provided. With the exception of Memorial Weekend and the weekend before, Thanksgiving weekend and the weekend before as most wineries have food and don’t allow outside food those days

• 7 1/2 hours for tours originating from the Portland Metro area

• 6 hours for tours originating in wine country from McMinnville, Newberg, and Dundee

Pick up and drop off at your Hotel, VRBO, Air BNB, or private residence

  • Bottled water is provided
  • A wine country style lunch will be provided. With the exception of Memorial Weekend and the weekend before, Thanksgiving weekend and the weekend before as most wineries have food and don’t allow outside food those days

  • Gratuities not included, but always appreciated!

COVID-19 Information

The health and safety of our guests and employees is our top priority. As we begin to resume tour operations we are following rigid health and sanitizing practices. Our vehicles have been cleaned and sanitized and have sanitizing wipes and hand sanitizer available. Seats, armrests and handles will be wiped down between stops. Tour busses will be filled to social distancing capacity. Private groups can sit together. Wearing of face masks is appreciated but not required.
